Our overland travels from Clapham to Cape Town ...

Having got engaged in a very snowy Venice on New Years Eve 2008, the question soon arose ... what to do for our honeymoon? After all the meticulous wedding planning, the day-in, day out "wedmin" and waking up in cold sweats in the middle of the night in the run up to the big day thinking .... did I really buy enough ribbon* - you would think a couple of weeks on the beach doing the best part of sod all would be in order?

Oh no - not for the newly wed Wilson's, we decided to pack up our lives in London for a year, jump in a Land Rover and drive to Cape Town ... as you do.
